@luke Not sure I ever tried miso. I use Bisto Best Onion Gravy to give it some richness. Mushrooms, a tin of kidney beans and a jar of lentils, a chopped onion, cumin, turmeric, garlic, smoked and sweet paprika, oregano (all fried together in plenty of olive oil), two tins of chopped tomatoes, a squeeze of tomato puree, and several teaspoons of Cooks' Ingredients Jalapeño Peppers in brine. Enough for eight meals for us. Maybe 4-6 for bigger appetites.
