These ducklings are growing up fast.
Not exactly hidden with that big arrow pointing the way, but I’ve never seen anyone use this “cycle path”. Probably because to do so you would have to veer off the main road by ninety degrees (assuming you know it’s there at all and it’s not blocked by parked cars), and more often than not take your own hedge trimmers with you (although as you can see the council trimmed it recently). 📷
I have a memory of a 80’s or 90’s British TV comedy sketch character visiting a Poundshop with his friend Alan. Alan would always ask, “How much is it?” To which the reply was always an exasperated “It’s a pound, Alan!”

Exploited child labour this evening to harvest two bags of potatoes.
Big kid insisted that the “butt potato” take pride of place in the group photo.
Disappointingly small crop, but they are really tasty.
