I’ve really been feeling the cold of winter in my bones this week.

So it’s no suprise that I should find myself listening to Sleepy Sun.

Feel it in your bones…

With or without sun, we’ll grow
Rise above winter’s deep hole

We all need a reason
Why we take the time to wonder

This year I managed to put up bookshelves and bunk beds, fixed a cupboard door back on in the kitchen with new hinges, replaced the silicone seal around the kitchen sink, and unblocked the kitchen sink and the toilet (several times).

But I’m not your handyman.

Porridge Radio are my band of the year.

I relistened to their 2022 album “Waterslide, Diving Board, Ladder To The Sky” countless times in August. It’s intense.

This is a brilliant solo live version of Back To The Radio.

They released their new album “Clouds In The Sky They Will Always Be There For Me” in October. It’s stunning!

I’m sick of the blues

Listening to her sing. She is fully connected to her truth. It shows up in her words, and it shows up in her voice. The two are indistinguishable.

I’m having trouble breathing in

Feels like my anthem for the year.

Great lyrics (including lines from “All Shook Up” and “My Generation”) on gardening-as-therapy gone wrong.

Nothing he’s got he really needs

Always one shinning up a lamp post!

The crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe
