Saw a few people mentioning Pluribus so I gave it a try. Had to switch off about half way through episode one. As my wife pointed out, “You don’t like zombie movies”.

Leftover cauliflower, broccoli and roast potatoes made a tasty bake in a Red Leicester cheese sauce.

I made soup from blended leftover parsnips, carrots, sprouts, and mashed potatoes.

Wife said it was “bloody delicious!” which she never does, so that’s got to be a win.

I just had mine and it’s certainly very fucking good.

Something no one mentioned, but I had thought about and normally do, is bread sauce. No one eats it but me, but I think I will make some next year. I missed it.

Xmas lunch all prepared, cooked and eaten, washing up done as well, by 2:15 pm. Yes, I did forget the cranberry sauce until halfway through.

Thanks to everyone who reminded me about gravy, sprouts and peas - Xmas dinner wouldn’t be the same without gravy and sprouts for sure, although I think I’ll give the peas a miss.

Tomorrow I’ll do chicken legs (instead of turkey), Lincolnshire sausages, roasties, Yorkies, cauliflower and broccoli. I have some leftover cooked bacon rashers from yesterday morning. Have I forgotten anything? 🤔
