Big kid persuaded me, against my better judgement, to join in with the parents' race at Sports Day this morning. As the younger, fitter dads rapidly moved away from me I felt something go in my right knee and hobbled in pain to the finish line.

With all the hot weather I’ve been eating nothing but salad, fresh fruit and ice pops for what seems like the last few weeks. I’m fed up with it. This morning I tried to use some leftover olives, peppers and halloumi in an omelette. I probably used too much, but the olives and halloumi were overpowering.

The CAF Bank saga just gets worse every day. Their new website is horribly broken in almost every possible way - user experience, functionality all significantly worse than before. I hope they can roll back to the old website. It was a little clunky, maybe, but it worked.
